The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy is hosting The Wonders of Pharmacy—an interactive, hands-on event created specifically for high school students interested in pharmacy, medication use, and the pharmaceutical sciences.
Students will experience an afternoon of engaging stations, games, prizes, snacks, and behind-the-scenes activities led by current PharmD students and practicing professionals.
Parents, guardians, and high school counselors and teachers are welcome to attend.

Current 5th graders will join Johnson County Middle School as 6th graders in August. This transition allows students to build academic confidence, form meaningful relationships, and gain early access to middle school opportunities.

The Johnson County School District extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dotty Meek. Dotty served the Johnson County School District at Meade Memorial Elementary, where she forged lifelong friendships and exemplified a quiet strength that defined her impact on the school community. She was preceded in death by her husband, former Johnson County School Board member Harry Meek. The flag will fly at half-staff on Thursday, January 1, in her honor.
