Business math students in Mr. Skeans classes went house-hunting based upon their chosen career and equivalent salary. They ultimately learned the costs of housing and purchasing power of local career pathways.

The JC Golf Team continued their great play at the Paintsville Invitational. The team captured 2nd place, missing another championship by three shots.

The JC Golf Team travelled to Raven Rock Golf Course in Jenkins for the Wise-Central Golf Invitational and set some school records. The team was led by Max Bingham firing a 63 to capture the individual championship. The team set one of the lowest tournament scores in school history by shooting a 288. Led by Max, Kaiden Powers shot 72, Cooper Blair a 76, Mason McKenzie a 77 and Carter Stephens fired a 86.

Here is what we’re looking for:
1. You must be a senior at JCHS.
2. Have at least a 3.0 GPA.
3. Have good 12th grade attendance and not chronically absent.
4. Show the 4 R’s: Be Respectful, Responsible, Ready, and build Relationships.
Whoever qualifies by the end of march will need to write a 500 word short essay, about your goals, your hustle and how this car could help you get where you’re going.
The deadline for the essay will be May First and the winner will be announced at senior awards. The winner will be chosen by a committee.
Lets be real – transportation can change everything. We want to help you take that next step in life. So bring your best, Show us your story. And lets drive toward success --- together.

‼️Calling all Tiny Eagles who love to shake their tailfeathers‼️ The Johnson Central Dance Team (JCDT) is bringing back a crowd favorite; our Tiny Eagle Dancers. Dancers who attend camp will be performing halftime of the Hutch Bowl! This bowl always brings a crowd who would love to see these kids perform. You can pre register by using the attached Google form link. We will also have registration prior to the start of camp. The Hutch Bowl will be the following Friday night. More information on the performance will be given at camp.
