Mrs. Allen goes above and beyond to encourage a love of reading at Central Elementary. From keeping up with Accelerated Reader progress, celebrating student growth, and planning meaningful incentives, she continues to make reading exciting and rewarding for our students.

Today was extra special — not only did our Student Lighthouse Team select Mr. Jimmy for this week’s staff shoutout… it also happens to be his birthday! 🎉
Our students shared that they chose him because:
✨ He works hard every day.
✨ He cleans up after lunch—every table, every time.
✨ They see him after school picking up trash and making sure our building looks great for everyone.
Mr. Jimmy is one of those people who makes Central Elementary better just by being here. He doesn’t look for applause or attention — he just quietly shows up, works hard, and cares deeply about our school.
We are grateful for his kindness, his pride in his work, and the example he sets for our students.
