Mrs. Charlene Owens and CES PLCs used Wonders writing rubrics and anchor papers to provide valuable feedback to students. CES will score writings a minimum of three times a year in grade-level PLCs and share vertically to ensure school-wide writing consistency. Way to go, CES!

Camp Shawnee staff working with 6 grade students on coping strategies in a 5 week character education program. Today’s focus was on anger. Students learned how to handle anger in a positive way and how to cope with situations that cause anger.




CES kindergarten students are working on their individual learning paths with iReady.

CES 4th graders had a science day of their own provided by their awesome teachers since they didn’t get to have their usual conservation day. The kids had an awesome time with a reptile show, painting birdhouses, dissecting owl pellets, and planting the flowers of their choice. GREAT day to be an Eagle!💛🖤
