What an honor for the JCMS Community Problem Solving Team to be recognized and presented with an award for their “No Juuls in Schools” project. Their project focuses on the harm that vaping can cause to your body and the awareness of how unsafe vaping actually is! State Senator Ralph Alvarado, and President/CEO of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky,spent time with the students and presented their awards! The CmPS project has received local, state and national attention and consideration. 😊😊😊 State Senator Bobby McCool and Judge Executive Mark McKenzie were also in attendance. ☀️☀️☀️

In an effort to continue providing nutrition to children while school is out for the summer, the Johnson County School District will be sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program at several sites throughout the county. Any child or teen aged 18 or younger can get a free meal at any site. Site locations, dates, & times are listed on the flyer below.
