We just want to share pictures of our campers at the first field trip for the summer camp season. We would also like to thank the East Kentucky Science Center for sharing such an educational experience centered around the planets and the great laser show. It may take a few rounds to share all the pictures. Part 1

Parents of our P.A.W.S summer camp campers just a reminder that tomorrow Thursday, June 5th we will be taking our first field trip. We will leave Porter around 9:00 am to go to The East Kentucky Science Center. We will stay until approximately 11:30 am. With the weather forecasted to be yet another good day. We will leave the Science Center and go to Dewey Dam picnic area for lunch. We will arrive back to Porter in time for pick ups and buses.
If your child has not returned their permission slip please make sure to send their signed permission slip with them tomorrow.

Learning and making your own snow were just a few of the fun activities that our campers did today in summer camp.











Today was the second day of summer camp at Porter and we want to make sure to share as many pictures as we can of our awesome campers.











Our panther campers had fun today digging for special stones. We would also like to thank our U.N.I.T.E community partners for coming and speaking with our campers about Cyber Bulling and making healthy choices.








Porter parents ARH will be hosting free sports physicals for any student on Tuesday, June 10th at Porter Elementary.

Just a few reminders for our P.A.W.S campers for Tuesday and this week. If your child is riding a bus in the morning please have them at their pick up spot around 7:00 am. Bus drivers are still working on timing their routes. If you will speak with the bus driver when they pick your child up. They will be able to give you a more exact time. We also sent home the permission slips for this year's field trips. Please sign and return to school as soon as possible. Our first field trip will be this Thursday to the East Kentucky Science Center with our lunch being at the Jenny Wiley Park. Make sure to dress your child appropriately. The P.A.W.S summer campers would like to thank Mrs. Macey Stewart and Mrs. Candance May from the 4-H Extension office for bringing their blender bike to make healthy smoothies. The campers enjoyed the healthy activity and snack.
