Porter Elementary is hosting a Vintage & Classic Car Show on Thursday, November 19th, from 9:00–11:00 AM, and we would love for you to join us!

Do you have a classic car, vintage vehicle, or a special ride you'd love to show off? We are inviting parents, grandparents, community members, and anyone who owns a classic car to bring it out for our students to enjoy!

Our goal is to give students the opportunity to see vehicles from the past, learn about their history, and experience a little piece of automotive history up close.

🦃🍂 Thanksgiving Lunch at Porter Elementary! 🍂🧡

We are excited to bring back a special Porter tradition! Join us on Friday, November 20th, for Thanksgiving Lunch with your child! We look forward to welcoming our Porter families into the cafeteria to share a special meal together. ❤️

A few important details:
🍁 Each student may invite up to two adults (parent/guardian) and any siblings in the household who are not yet in school.
🍁 Registration is REQUIRED! Please scan the QR code on the flyer to complete the preregistration form no later than November 15th.
🍁 The cost is $5.05 per person (cash or check only). Payment will be collected before entering the cafeteria.
🍁 Each guest may choose turkey or ham, one serving of each side, and one dessert.
🍁 Grade-level lunch times are posted!

🍎 We had a special visitor today! Johnny Appleseed stopped by our classroom and read us a story. He also brought us 3 different kinds of apples to taste! 🍏 After trying each one, we collected our data and made a graph to see which apple was our class favorite. 📊🍎
