We’re excited to celebrate our 5th grade Girls Basketball and 5th grade Football players on Monday, September 21st, at Porter Gymnasium! 🎉

Players, please arrive by 5:45 PM so we can recognize and celebrate you before the A-Team game begins. We want to make this a special night for our 5th graders and their families! 🐾

Huge congratulations to our Johnson County Cross Country Eagles for digging deep and showing up strong at the Giovanni’s Boyd County Invitational. 🦅👟💨 Every mile, every effort, every personal record counts—and these young runners left it all on the course! Boys 6th & Under (2K) Easton Perry (Porter) – 3rd Place 🏆 Cam O’Bryan (Highland) – 10th Place🏅 Jackson Estep (Flat Gap) – 34th Place Nicholas Reel (Highland) – 66th place Girls 4th & Under (1.8K) Paislee Perry (Porter) – 5th Place (9:29) 🏅 Paisley Chaffin (Central) - 53rd Place Special shoutout to brother/sister Easton and Paislee for bringing home top-5 finishes, Cam O'bryan for his back-back top 10 finish, and to Jackson, Nicholas, and Paisley for pushing themselves to get better every race! 🏆 BACK-TO-BACK XC CHAMPIONS! 🏆 The 4th & Under team did it again! Huge congratulations to our runners for bringing home the team title at the Giovanni’s Boyd County Invitational for the second year in a row! These young athletes showed up, put in the work, and dominated the course: 🥇 Henry Cantrell (WR) – Individual Race Champion (1st Place!) 🥈 Trent Gibson (Flat Gap) – 2nd Place Individual Finish 🏅 Holden Cantrell (WR) – 11th Place 🏅 Brayden Toole (Porter) – 12th Place 🌟 Kyle Chaffin (Central) – 33rd Place as 5th team score ⚡ Connor Banks (Central) & Barrett Stratton (Central) – Both set brand-new Personal Records (PRs)! The PAWS Yellow Group showed us that kindness shines brightest when we celebrate the strengths and awesomeness in one another! 💛 Students took time to recognize their strengths and share all the reasons they are awesome. Building confidence, encouraging one another, and celebrating what makes each person special are important parts of growing and learning.
