Mrs. Amanda Ratliff has been selected as a GoTeachKY 2022 Ambassador. This KDE initiative helps ensure students have equitable access to effective educators and promotes the recruitment/retainment of teachers. Congratulations, Mrs. Ratliff!

If you are interested in community service we hope you join the Interact Club! We are the high school branch of the Paintsville Rotary. Our first community service will be making gift baskets for mental health, child services, and health care workers. We are meeting Thursday!

During last night's board meeting, the board approved some changes to our current school calendar.
During the week of our Thanksgiving holiday, there will now be NO school on that Monday (11/22) and Tuesday (11/23). Those two days will be added to the end of the year and the last day for students will now be May 20th. Also, the academic day that we had scheduled off for March 14th has been changed to March 21st.

Together we are honoring our principals all month long for National Principals' Month! Thank you, JCHS Principals!

Come out and support our Golden Eagles as they take on Belfry at 6:30PM in the 15th Region Volleyball Tournament at Johnson Central High School.

Our students' safety is our top priority here at Johnson Central High School. Please note the correspondence from our head principal, Justin Arms, regarding a threat to a Central High School in MISSOURI. The threat is NOT toward students at JCHS.
