Exciting opportunity for all of our seniors! Governor Beshear recently announced that Kentucky will pay for all high school seniors to take the ACT for free this fall!
To clarify, this opportunity is OPTIONAL, but we highly encourage all of our seniors to take advantage of this chance for a free ACT! Studied prove that the more times you take the ACT, the higher your score will be.
In order to be registered for the exam, any senior interested in taking the FREE ACT on October 12 must let Mrs. Caudill know. Feel free to email micca.caudill@johnson.kyschools.us or call 789-2500.
The press release can be found here: https://kentucky.gov/Pages/Activity-stream.aspx?n=GovernorBeshear&prId=1345

Good news! JCHS student schedules are available for viewing in student portal at this time! If schedule changes are desired, the student will book an appointment with their counselor using the appointment form found in their grade level google classroom. Schedule changes are to be made STRICTLY through grade-level counselors.
There will be EXTREMELY limited schedule changes once school begins on August 10, so make your schedule request NOW via appointment found in the grade-level google classroom. Absolutely do not wait until school starts.

Join us in congratulating these three students on their hard-earned success on Advanced Placement examinations! Cole Butcher, Constance Martin, and Meredith McNally have been named AP Scholars by the College Board for passing three or more AP exams. Cole and Constance have passed three exams thus far and 2022 graduate, Meredith McNally, passed 5 total in her career at JCHS. Impressive!!!
