Students from the JCHS Honor Choir finished their final make-up day of recording solos and duets for their latest project.
All incoming 9th grade students & parents: You are invited to attend this year's EMPOWER Academy!
At the EMPOWER Academy, students will:

- Engage in captivating team-building activities emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and community building.
- Have the opportunity to meet their dedicated teachers and principals, fostering a strong connection from the start.
- Get acquainted with their new school environment, making the transition a breeze.
- Develop new friendships and create lasting memories.
Parents, you are invited to attend the parent session that evening. This is an opportunity to:
- Learn about the Leader In Me Program & BARR Program, empowering your child's leadership potential.
- Complete any pending enrollment forms and ensure a smooth start to the school year.
- Understand the importance of regular attendance for your child's academic success.
- Register for Positive Action Courses offered by our esteemed Community School Coordinators.
- Learn about all the Career & Technical programs, student organizations, and clubs offered by JCHS
- Meet teachers, principals, and some support staff
- Find out about all the opportunities that your student can get involved in during their time at JCHS!

We are very happy to announce the appointment of Brad Murphy as the head coach of our Lady Eagles soccer team! Mr. Murphy is currently an integrated science and biology teacher at JCHS and his wife, Amanda, is our senior guidance counselor. They also have a daughter, Braylee Murphy, and a son, Brody Murphy.

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Leigh Anne Owens to our Eagle faculty! She will be joining our special education department as a learning, emotional, and behavioral disorder teacher. We are excited to have Mrs. Owens with us and know she will have a tremendous impact on our students!
