Congratulations to Seniors Ryan Rice and Grace Blackburn for being chosen to join the 2024 STLP Engineer/Ambassador team! They will soon meet with Associate Commissioner of Education, David Couch and Chief Digital Officer, Dr. Marty Park and the rest of the engineers. In March the STLP E/A team will provide technical support at Kentucky’s largest education technology professional conference, KySTE before convening in Lexington to provide leadership and support to the 2024 STLP State Championship. We are very proud to have these two eagles represent JC!

🎉 Congratulations 🎉 to our Cybersecurity Teams at Johnson Central High School, who advanced from Silver Tier to Gold Tier this year in the national CyberPatriot competition! These teams are supported by BSCTC through the GenCyber grant in association with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Security Agency (NSA).
🎊State Winners🎊 These teams placed 1st and 2nd place in Kentucky and in the Gold Tier! The 1st place team will compete in the national semi-finals on January 19th.

Congratulations to Grace Blackburn for being a Coca-Cola Regional Finalist! There were more than 103,000 applicants and over 1,500 semifinalists, of which only 250 advanced to regional finals. If Grace is chosen she will earn a $20,000 scholarship!
