🎓Senior Graduation Events Calendar🎓
Seniors & parents/guardians of Seniors, save the dates for all of these events!
We will have a meeting with all students on May 1 at 9:30 to go over important graduation information. All graduating seniors should plan to attend!


Our hosa Community Awareness group presented their research project, Fentanyl: The Silent Killer, at Appalachian Research Day hosted by UK's Healthy Way program. This project helped to increase community knowledge about fentanyl and overdose awareness. They also provided information about naloxone administration and were able to donate 11 naloxone kits to our Johnson County schools. Project participants: Trent Cox, Braley Howard, Mia Jarrell, and Courtney Meade




JCHS students in our Technology Student Association (TSA) student organization are eligible for a summer camp opportunity July 25-27! Cost is $100 and only 150 spots are available statewide in a first come first serve basis. There is also a stipend opportunity open to teachers and parents that are interested in serving as a councilor: If you are interested please email: nathan.reel@johnson.kyschools.us

Congratulations to these juniors for securing a spot in the ACT Stars gallery! They have earned a 25 or higher on the ACT from their performance on the statewide 11th grade ACT last month!


Congratulations to Constance Martin for being chosen as the Johnson Central representative for WSAZ's "Best in Class." WSAZ Best in Class was calculated using blind scoring of a combination of GPA, ACT Score, Dual Credit Coursework, State Testing Scores, AP exams passed, and attendance records for 4 years.

Eagles, tomorrow kicks off the last Round Robin round of March Madness - Attendance edition! We're counting on you to be there!


Student drivers and parents who use plaza parking spaces: Starting tomorrow, please park toward Fazolis and Burger King.
DO NOT park in front of Castle's, Aaron's, Made4You, Little Caesars, Goodwill, TJ Maxx, etc. Also parents should not park BEHIND Aarons and Little Caesars as that is a loading zone.
You will be towed beginning tomorrow if you park in the first two rows in front of any of those businesses. or if you park behind those businesses.
See Kim Robinson if you'd like a parking pass for on campus parking OR park near Fazolis and Burger King.

Our Apprenticeship Building America mentorship group spent the morning with career coach Dr. Malyssa Collins. They presented their resumes, cover letters, and lifetime bucket lists
. They also completed a mock interview and played "Career Feud". We'd like to thank Dr. Collins for all of her work with these young ladies. Also, congratulations to Madison Goble! She was the winner of Career Feud.



We'd like to congratulate the following students for passing the rigorous Certiport industry certification exams!
The Unity Certified User certification enables individuals to get started in interactive content creation for industries such as gaming, entertainment, automotive, XR, and AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction). Individuals who earn a Unity Certified User certification receive an industry-recognized credential that validates their proficiency using Unity technology and proves that they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in careers requiring interactive content creation.
The Information Technology Specialist program is a way for candidates to validate foundational IT skills sought after by employers. The IT Specialist program is aimed at individuals who are considering or just beginning a path to a career in information technology.
