
From Kindergarten to 6th grade, CES students are engaging in hands on learning today.



Next week we will begin our school spirit days by helping our Kindergarteners with color recognition. Let’s all work together and dress in each days color to help our Kindergarten students succeed.

Central Elementary is saddened to hear of the passing of former teacher Jamie Kennedy. Coach Kennedy was always a joy to be around and is loved by his former students. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and colleagues.


Mr. Hill conducted interviews today for classroom jobs.

Both K-2 Flag Football teams will have practice this Wednesday, August 25th from 5:00-6:00 PM. First game will be played on August 30th.

Central Elementary students are loving our social emotional and responsibility building desk pet program. Thanks to PTO collaborating with the Leader in Me Action Teams to make this happen.

Elementary football tryouts will be postponed until Wednesday, August 11th, because of heavy rain expected this evening and open houses tomorrow night.

Enter through middle school entrance and proceed to the back of the high school to receive items. Then exit the back gate to the plaza.


Hillbilly Hibachi will be at JCHS Tomorrow starting at 11:30 in the parking lot. Please come out and support the Lady Eagle Volleyball team.

Teachers and staff at Central Elementary participated in two days of Professional Development this week. They completed a Leader in Me training, reviewed curriculum updates, and trained on new classroom technology. They are excited to welcome the students back on August 11th!

If you have multiple children, registration will be completed on them during that time as well. Kindergarten parents will be given time to complete the registration for their child during KinderCamp.
