The Johnson County Board of Education Flag is flying at half-staff today in honor of Janice Bayes. Mrs. Bayes worked as a chef for 20 years at Porter Elementary School. Our prayers are with the Bayes family.

Saturday at the Regional Cross Country meet our Lady Eagles finished as regional runner-up and our Eagles finished in third place. Mckaylin Pierce is the regional champion. Both teams advance to the state finals in Lexington. Well Done, Eagles!
