Congratulations to our KVEC Learning Innovation Grant Recipients.
These educators submitted a project that reimagined learning during a pandemic, focusing on new strategies, tools, and processes using technology that enhance opportunities for impactful teaching and learning, whether in person or remote.
The following teachers will present their winning projects this year at the annual KVEC Fire Summit!


Region 7 KYDLC monthly meeting is off to a great start! Mrs. Selena Cochran shared examples of studios and principal reflections. A huge thanks to KYDLC state lead Laura Raganas for sharing, creating networking opportunities, and outstanding leadership!




JCDLC Mrs. Jessica Mullins conducted Year 2 JC Induction Teacher Clarity professional learning session! JC Educators are continuously learning new instructional strategies to improve their educational practices.




JCMS students in Mrs. Staniford’s Advanced ELA class rotated in studios to learn about annotation, vocabulary, and analysis with their current novel. They followed a checklist to ensure they mastered the objectives for the day. Great job Eagles!



JCDLC Mrs. Charlene Owens collaborated with Mr. Christopher Hill on formative assessment and student engagement strategies! CES Eagles are working hard to provide the very best education for students!

Highland Elementary Principal, Missy Davis, was the weekly Guest Speaker at today’s Kiwanis Meeting. She spoke about her goals and vision for the 2021-22 school year.


Johnson Central High School administrators were guests at Kiwanis meeting today. They spoke about BARR program, career majors, and the vast opportunities at Johnson Central High.
