5th graders explored Jamestown through a gallery walk! They learned about life in the first permanent English settlement.




Miss Fairchild's 1st grade class had so much fun last fun Friday! We ended the week with a fun craft along with some chips and dip from Tres Hermanos to celebrate our successful week learning about the short i sound.











Introducing our 2025-2026 Student Lighthouse Team! These kids have already been hard at work organizing their first Leadership Rally, recording their first podcast, and completing leadership role interviews. We can't wait to see the positive impact they will make on our school community this year! Congratulations Wildcats!

Mrs. Bayes’s sixth-grade Science classes have been exploring Plate Motion. They developed expertise by analyzing four core drilling sites and identifying common characteristics among the samples from each site.

Mrs. Bayes's sixth-grade Social Studies classes have been exploring early human history and the ancient cave art from that period. Today, students engaged in a read-aloud activity focused on cave art, experienced a virtual reality tour of a cave in France, and concluded the day by designing their own cave art projects.

Picture Day was today, now what???


Our teachers are working hard on unit and lesson internalization protocols. Today, our staff worked with a coach from iReady Curriculum Associates to reflect on previous learning and prepare for upcoming lessons. We are incredibly fortunate to have educators like these who are dedicated to achieving the best possible learning outcomes for every student, every day.






A big thank you to our Johnson Central Turning point USA representatives. They provided this beautiful flag and had prayer with Mrs. Davis.



Another successful day of RC racing for 6th grade students that were selected based on showing leadership and engagement throughout the week. Our new grade-level champion is excited to hold the title and to wear the medal next week!🏁🤩

Third grade students created three digit addition equations. They then used place value blocks as a strategy to check their sum for their equations. The students loved the activity that strengthened their addition skills!
