We are so incredibly proud of all of our Wildcats who completed an application and interviewed for a School Leadership Role. Not only did they show initiative, but their dedication and hard work was on clear display, as they rocked their interviews and made the selection process extremely difficult for us teachers. Way to go, Wildcats!

What a fun week in 4th grade science! 🔬👁 On Tuesday, students designed and built vision models to explore how eyes function with either high-sensitivity or low-sensitivity light receptors. Then on Thursday, they rotated through hands-on light stations to investigate shadows, refraction, color reflection and absorption, and the properties of transparent, translucent, and opaque materials. Learning has never been so bright!💡🌈🧪

Mrs. Bevins' math classes have started learning multiplication strategies this week. Today we worked on an activity using uno cards and counters to create and solve multiplication equations using arrays and equal groups. The students all had a great time with the hands on learning.

Mrs. Wright's class used Mixed Pair Share to demonstrate their knowledge of vocabulary words and share their Frayer Models with their peers. It was amazing to see the students take charge of their learning and help coach their peers in a productive and engaging environment.

Our learners took the lead- sharing their goals, growth, and achievements with confidence and pride. It was amazing to see them reflect on their hard work and take ownership of their learning. Thank you to our families for supporting and celebrating these important moments. Together, we're building not just scholars, but leaders! #studentledconferences #futureleaders

We had a great time in Mrs. Bevins' third grade math class reviewing for our first math unit test this week. Students got to use buzzers, play musical desks, subtraction rally coach, and played place value wars.
