JC Basketball Camp begins tomorrow!
Attention Families who's students are registered for Flat Gap Summer School: Doors Open at 7:15 am. Classes begin at 8:00. In the afternoon, parent pick up will be at 2:00 at the front office.

Free Summer Meal Pickup
Any child age 1 through 18 qualifies regardless of income.
Enrollment in Johnson County Schools is not necessary to participate in the program.
ONE SIGNUP FORM PER CHILD PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED.
Each child signed up will be provided 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches for pickup from your chosen location.
Only parents/guardians may pick up meals for children who are not present at the meal pick up.
If a child is not signed up for the program, the child must be present at their first meal pickup to receive their meals.
Buses will deliver meals once per week to the chosen location.
If a change in pickup location is needed, please complete this form again with the updated location.
A child that receives a meal from a summer food service site cannot receive the same meal from another site.

🚨🚨Important Announcement!!! Due to an improvement in the weather forecast, we are planning to continue with our outdoor waterslide inflatables on Thursday (Head Start-2nd) and Friday (3rd-6th).
Please send sunblock, towel, and extra clothes with your child. If they choose to wear a 2 piece swim suit, they will need to wear a tshirt over it. Young men also should wear a shirt with their swimming trunks.
We are looking forward to a fun filled last 2 days of school! 🎉

The precautionary lockdown at Flat Gap Elementary has concluded. Law enforcement officials have cleared the scene and determined there is no threat to the school.
Dismissal will proceed ; however, please expect parent pickups and bus routes to be a little late as we work to get everyone home safely.
We want to commend our staff and students for following all safety protocols perfectly, and we thank our local law enforcement partners for their rapid response. Thank you for your patience and cooperation today as we prioritized student safety.

Out of an abundance of caution, Flat Gap Elementary is placed on lockdown following reports of gunfire in the vicinity of the school. Local law enforcement responded immediately and is currently present on campus to secure the area.
