With KPREP testing winding down I want to thank all of our parents and students for working hard and being committed to our school. On another note Mrs. Tonya Mullins who is subbing for Mrs. Doderer made me this shirt that made this Principal smile. She knows me well. Thanks Mrs. Mullins we appreciate you and the shirt as well.

What a wonderful surprise from East Point Church of Christ! They brought breakfast and drinks for our Greyhound staff for Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you for our morning treat and loving words!

Traveling back in time to 1850 Head Start took a field trip to the Mountain Homeplace today! Learning about life back in the “olden days” getting to pet and feed the animals, learning to plant seeds, learning about making yarn and weaving, and making homemade applesauce! They really enjoyed there time travel!

May 6-10 will be the KPREP testing window for grades 3-6. We need for students to be here at school by 7:45 am every day next week in order to be able to start the testing on time. We ask that you help us to make you child be successful by ensuring they get good rest this upcoming week and eat breakfast each day either at home or in the school cafeteria. This has been an outstanding school year and we look for next year to be even better with start of our LIFT Program(free after school programming thanks to the 21st Century Grant).
Thank you all for your support of our school, its students and staff. We are fortunate to live in a small community that still values our children. Have an outstanding weekend and wish us luck for our students during the KPREP test.
