Calendar time in Kindergarten helps us learn so much! We practice writing our name and numbers, learn about patterns, counting, the weather, and various other mathematical skills. We look forward to incorporating music and movement into our learning daily!

We use cooperative groups and hands on manipulatives to help us learn how to read words with long vowel sounds. Learning in Kindergarten is so much fun!

Students in Mrs. Salyers Kindergarten use the interactive board during reading groups to practice decoding words to read sentences. Students put their comprehension skills to the test as they become illustrators for their small books.
