Let us start by recognizing JCHS Principal Noel Crum.  Just this year Mr.  Crum was  named the 2020 High School Principal of the Year by The Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals. Any girl in grades 4-6 that would like to play girls basketball at Highland this school year needs to be at Highland Elementary gym tomorrow at 4! Girls need to make sure they are wearing masks as they enter the school and can remove them once in the gym for practice!! We look forward to seeing you there!
REMINDERS: 
Kindergarten: *Please send in birth certificate copy, SSN card copy, Immunization record, eye exam, physical exam, and their dental exam (even if done in headstart the dental exam must be redone prior to kindergarten, must be dated the calendar year of entering)
6th graders: *Please send in 6th grade physicals

First graders listened to the story “Not A Box”  and then completed a STEAM activity by converting boxes into animals, furniture, purses, cars and much more. #learningbydoing #handsonlearning #jcclickandsoar

First graders identified pets and wild animals. They watched a Veterinarian at work. Students completed a STEAM activity using supplies from around the house to create a pet.
