
Mrs. Bayes' 5th grade science class used nonstandard measuring tools, estimation and exact measurements to measure the circumference of apples and their peer's head. They then used rulers and yards sticks to determine the exact measurements using the metric system.

This week our students and staff will be focusing on Habit 1: Be Proactive! Families, help us practice the habit by using proactive language and modeling this behavior at home.


Mrs. Bevins' class had a great first week of learning and fun! We are ready for an amazing year! ❤️










Ms. Bryant’s second graders had a great first week of school! Students learned rules and procedures, discussed how to make their class a better family, and ended the week by presenting their “All About Me” bags.




Sixth graders wrapped up their first week of school learning the procedures and processes of Modern Classroom and how that will look in math class this year.




Ms. Greene’s 2nd Graders learned the importance of making new friends today! Students got to know each other better by presenting their “About Me Bags” and playing “Find a Friend Who” bingo!




Second graders presented their All About Me bags today.



Third grade students completed a book challenge to wrap up the first week of school.



New 4th graders read letters from former 4th graders today. They were given some good advice as well as things to look forward to this year!

Girls basketball practice tomorrow after school until 4:30. Anyone staying after, please bring a note from your guardian.

Gymnastics will begin Thursday, August 17 after school from 3:00-4:00. Student must have a note from guardian to stay after school.
