Flat Gap students and faculty have studied, "The Dot," this week! It is a simple story with an important message for all of us. We must be brave, make our mark, and encourage others on life's journey. https://youtu.be/sg-aGFsOk1I?si=YzBsOuOuGBJk38JO #GreyhoundGrit #GreatandGettingGreater #TheDot #LeaderinMe

Today, Flat Gap Fifth Graders participated in their own Stamp Act Congress modeled after the 1765 meeting to protest British taxation. The students loved Judge Mollette's powdered wig! #GreyhoundGrit #GreatandGettingGreater

Flat Gap Elementary celebrates our District 4 Board Member, Willard Burton! Mr. Burton is a dedicated supporter for ALL Johnson County students and schools, but he will tell you that, "Everyday is a Great Day to be a Greyhound!" He is a Flat Gap Elementary School Graduate, served as a Greyhound coach through the 1970's and 80's, and committed many years as a football coach for JCMS and as part of the JCHS basketball coaching team.
