All Flat Gap Junior Pro Games for March 13, 2020 will be played as scheduled.

Johnson County Schools will be in session Friday, March 13th! It is very important that your child attend school if he/she is not sick! All students will receive important information concerning the next few weeks!


There will be school tomorrow in Johnson County. What WYMT reported was not accurate. We will follow the Governor’s advise and have school tomorrow then dismiss starting next week.

Based on the recommendation of Governor Beshear and the Kentucky Department of Education, Johnson County Schools will be closed from Monday, March 16th-Friday, April 3rd. There will be scheduled NTI Days. A detailed plan will be posted soon.

These Greyhounds participated in an interactive science lesson about Pollinators!
We combined art, storytelling and math for this Action Science program! They flew their paper butterfly around to exchange pollen with the flowers.





Mrs. Witten’s K/1 students had some fun practicing writing numbers “on the ceiling” to celebrate Wacky Wednesday!





Mrs. Sabrina O'Bryan's class read The Lorax by Dr. Seuss and discussed the importance of a clean environment. Students then brainstormed ways they can help stop pollution in Eastern Kentucky.
