Today is National Maintenance Appreciation Day. The Johnson County School District would like to thank our maintenance workers for always going the extra mile and keeping our facilities warm, secure, and running smoothly.


The Johnson County School District celebrates Read Across America Day. Schools will have guest readers, spirit week, and complete fun literacy activities in celebration. Our district strives to instill a love of reading every day.


The Johnson County School District was pleased to host the Regional 7 Kentucky Digital Learning Coach monthly meeting. Thank you, Kentucky Digital Learning Coach State Lead, Mrs. Laura Raganas, for facilitating and leading the way!





JC Digital Learning Coach Stephanie Moore modeled high-yield instructional strategies during a professional learning session titled Engagement Strategies. Thank you, Mrs. Moore, for adding a wealth of new digital and instructional strategies to our educational toolboxes.





Educators engaged in learning as Johnson Central High School Assistant Principal Marc Shepherd discussed the importance of mastery learning and the positive impact on academic growth. Thank you, Mr. Shepherd for preparing such an outstanding presentation!


Mr. John Fairchild received a surprise gift on School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. A huge thank you to each of our drivers for always putting students and safety first!
