The Johnson County School District extends our deepest sympathies to the family of Mr. Steve Whitaker. Throughout his remarkable career as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and coach, Mr. Whitaker exemplified what it means to Love, Learn, Lead, and Leave a Legacy. His lasting impact on our district and community will never be forgotten.
As a tribute to his service, the flag at the Johnson County Board of Education will fly at half-staff on Saturday, June 28th.
