The Johnson County School District extends our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Ruby Carol Butcher Branham, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 86.

Mrs. Branham was a retired employee with the Johnson County School System, where she dedicated her time to supporting students and educators. Her service to our schools and the children of Johnson County will be remembered with gratitude.

We are thankful for her years of dedication and the difference she made in the lives of those she served.

In honor of Mrs. Branham's life and service to our school district, the flag will fly at half-staff on Friday, October 30, 2026.
