In Loving Memory of Leah Tuggle Reel
Ms. Reel was a retired educator from the Johnson County School System and a proud former coach of the Johnson Central High School Aqua Eagles Swim Team. Throughout her career, she made a lasting impact on the lives of her students and athletes through her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
As a reflection of her passion for the sport and the students she served, the family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Johnson Central High School Aqua Eagles Swim Team.
In honor of Ms. Reel's service and lasting contributions to Johnson County Schools and the Aqua Eagles program, the flag at the Johnson County Board of Education will fly at half-staff on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, former students, and athletes during this difficult time.
