Mrs. Ferguson devoted her career to the students of Johnson County Schools as a librarian at Flat Gap, W.R. Castle, Meade Memorial, and Central Elementary. Through her love of books and reading, she inspired generations of students and helped them discover the joy of learning. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched.
In honor of Mrs. Ferguson's service and lasting impact on our schools and community, the flag at the Johnson County Board of Education will fly at half-staff on Thursday, June 11. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
