Principal Appreciation Month

The Johnson County School District hosted its monthly board meeting on Monday, October 27th. The evening was filled with celebration and Golden Eagle pride, with several outstanding accomplishments being highlighted.

Mr. Adam Crum and Mrs.Penny Hager, Johnson Central High School Golden Eagles, were honored for their incredible careers and retirement after years of dedicated service to Johnson County School District students and families. Superintendent Cochran also recognized our principals and assistant principals for their leadership and commitment to student success during October’s Principal Appreciation Month.

The Johnson Central High School Girls Soccer Team was celebrated for capturing the 15th Region Championship and advancing to the KHSAA State Quarterfinals, while JCHS golfer Cooper Blair was recognized for competing in the KHSAA State Golf Tournament.

It was a fantastic meeting filled with well-deserved recognition and a reminder of what makes Johnson County School District such a special place to Love, Learn, Lead, and Leave a Legacy.
