Meet Chrystal McKenzie, a proud member of our Golden Eagle Campus Police at the Johnson County School District.
Chrystal brings 27 years of experience in law enforcement, including service with the Paintsville Police Department, where she retired at the rank of Assistant Chief. She also served 15 years with the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, working in Special Investigations Services and as a Correctional Systems Officer.
She is a graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, KY, the Department of Justice Law Enforcement Academy in Savannah, GA, and has trained with the FBI Evidence Recovery Team in Houston, TX. Along the way, she has earned numerous certifications that reflect her commitment to safety and justice.
Chrystal shares, “I’ve always had a love for law enforcement. It is an honor to be part of the Golden Eagle Campus Police. My number one priority is the safety of students and staff.”
