With 28 years of law enforcement experience, Officer Adam Williams has dedicated his career to serving and protecting his community. He began his career as a Corrections Officer and served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves before joining the Lakeland Police Department in 1999, where he retired as a Sergeant.
During his time at LPD, Sgt. Williams was a member of the Dive Rescue and SWAT teams and worked extensively with local schools. He was recognized for his service with a Lifesaving Award and was a member of the SWAT World Championship Team.
Some of things Officer Williams is most proud of, during his career are; his family, work with kids, church, and the community. He is married with three children. Two of his children are graduates of JC. He volunteered with the Police Athletic League and Royal Rangers while in Florida. He loves to mentor. He was a head High School Wrestling Coach at Victory Christian. He was active in the Salvation Army and Victory Church.
Since relocating to Johnson County, Officer Williams has continued his commitment to public service. He has worked for the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, taught Law and Public Safety at Johnson Central, and served as an Assistant Wrestling Coach
Officer Williams is honored to serve Johnson County Schools as a part-time officer, bringing his extensive experience and passion for keeping children safe to the community.
