The Johnson County School District is thrilled to announce the launch of the Magnetic Reading Group initiative. This program provides explicit, systematic instruction in foundational reading skills to kindergarten through third-grade students. Students and teachers alike have been actively engaged in this important work, and we are excited to see the results of our efforts.
All students deserve the opportunity to become proficient readers, and we are committed to providing them with the resources they need to succeed. The Magnetic Reading Group initiative is a significant step forward in our mission to ensure that all students are reading at grade level by the end of third grade.
